Comic strip for March 13 2024.
PANEL ONE: The champion and Xaga continue to run from the monster. XAGA: Wait—you're a divine champion. Can't you call on your patron for aid? CHAMPION: I was just thinking of that, though I'm not sure it'll help. PANEL TWO: Close on the champion. CHAMPION: Erlak! Erlak? I could use a little help here! PANEL THREE: Closer on the champion. CHAMPION: ERLAAAK!!! PANEL FOUR: 3/4 angle on the champion and Xaga. CHAMPION: Dang it, Erlak, if you're not going to do anything useful, can you at least show up so I can yell at you about it? XAGA: Maybe he's busy with something... PANEL FIVE: Behind the bar in the Bar of Soup, Erlak looks around desperately. ERLAK: Look, can one of you watch the bar for just a few minutes—really, I won't be long—look, it's kind of an emergency...

Guess what I finally, finally did? If you guessed "fixed one of the two significant issues with the mobile version of the site (the link buttons extending off the edge of the screen and the too-large gap below the strip), then, amazingly, you're right!

So guess which one of them I fixed? You're never going to guess. It's mostly both! Well, it's the first one, and also mostly the second one. The link buttons are now consolidated on mobile into a dropdown method (through a horribly inefficient use of HTML5 and CSS that I'm sure there were much better ways to do), and the gap between the strip and the bottom of the "bowl" and the date is fixed, but then there's still too large a gap between the bottom of the bowl and the calendar and commentary. Still, that seems like a relatively minor issue that shouldn't be hard to fix. Maybe I'll do it today! Maybe I won't, because I am constitutionally incapable of getting anything done in an expeditious manner!

Of course, if you were reading the strip on your phone today, the day this strip went up, then you already knew this before you read the commentary. But you weren't, because nobody is, because I still haven't really done anything to promote the strip. That's... something else I really need to get around to. After I fix that remaining gap.
