Comic strip for March 15 2024.
PANEL ONE: The champion and Xaga continue to flee from the monster. XAGA: Maybe we should split up. CHAMPION: What? why? PANEL TWO: Close on Xaga. XAGA: Well, for one thing, we'll be less visible and harder to follow. And it might con– fuse the monster enough to give us a bit of a lead. PANEL THREE: Side angle on the champion and Xaga. CHAMPION: Well, but Maiz is kinda my responsibility, and I'd feel really bad if he ate you. XAGA: Seriously, if we split up we'll both have a better chance. CHAMPION: Well, okay... PANEL FOUR: The champion watches Xaga run off in a different direction. PANEL FIVE: The champion looks back at the monster. CHAMPION: Whew! The monster's still following ME! PANEL SIX: He looks forward again. CHAMPION: Actually, I guess I sorta have mixed feelings about that...

I am, apparently, on a roll, or on the closest thing to a role that I am ever on. Once again I actually met my goal for the day regarding Soup and fixed the issues with the site on screens between 500 and 750 pixels wide. As far as I can tell, the site is working properly on mobile now.

Well, the main page of the site, anyway. The archive page still has some problems. And certainly there are other changes and additions I want to make on the site, like a graphical archive, embedded forum threads for each strip, and eventually a cast page. But perhaps I should put a higher priority on, uh, actually creating more strips before my buffer runs out. (Buffer! That's the word I was searching for in several past commentaries! I wrote "backlog" but I wasn't sure that was really the word I was searching for, and it wasn't; it was "buffer"! I finally remembered! For now; I'm sure I'll forget again soon.)
