Soup the Comic Strip by Alun Clewe
Comic strip for January 31 2024.
PANEL ONE: The necromancer, in the foreground, addresses the champion as he unties Maiz. NECROMANCER: Be careful. It isn't over. The ghost has been driven out for now, but it has not been banished forever. It may yet return. PANEL TWO: Angle on the necromancer, with the champion in the foreground. CHAMPION: Well... is there a way you can make sure he doesn't come back? NECROMANCER: No... or at least, not easily. PANEL THREE: Close on the champion, thinking. CHAMPION: Wait... never mind... something DeVallon said just gave me an idea. PANEL FOUR: The champion stands behind Nezhoni. CHAMPION: It's like the old saying says... we'll FIGHT GHOSTS WITH GHOSTS! PANEL FIVE: Same angle as in previous panel. NEZHONI: That's not an old saying. CHAMPION: Well maybe it should be! NEZHONI: Nah, I'm pretty sure it shouldn't.

And so, after two days of actually getting important work done on the site (that I should have done a long time ago), on the third day (today) I once again forget to upload the relettered strip until hours after it should have gone up. Balance is restored to the Force.

(Seriously, I've got to get ahead again and stop doing this. There's an unrelated project that's badly overdue and that I've been scrambling to finish lately that's been taking up most of my free time, though, and once that's done I'll have more time for other things, I hope...)

I have characters put their hands over their chins a lot when they're thinking. Do people actually do that? I should probably not use that pose so much, if at all.
