PANEL ONE: The champion draws his sword. CHAMPION: I killed you once, and I can kill you again! PANEL TWO: Close on the champion wielding his sword. CHAMPION: Yaaah! PANEL THREE: The champion lunges forward with his sword. CHAMPION: Hah! PANEL FOUR: The sword passes through the transparent figure of DeVallon, who is apparently unharmed. DEVALLON: Um... you're not entirely clear on how this whole “ghost” thing works, are you?

I noticed that the bag that usually hangs from the champion's belt is missing in this strip, but then it occurred to me that well, they're in a hotel room; maybe he took it off; maybe its omission was intentional. On the other hand, maybe it wasn't and I just forgot it. It was twenty years ago. Who can say?
