It's 24-Hour Comics Day! And while this may be a bad idea, I decided I wanted to participate in person this year badly enough to get a plane ticket to Albuquerque, which is where the nearest location is that's hosting the event. So at the time this strip went up, I was... not in Albuquerque yet, because the event doesn't officially start until noon, and my plane doesn't leave until 7:45. But for the latter half of the day I'll be doing 24-Hour Comics Day, anyway. Of course, I'm writing this commentary in advance, so at the time I'm posting this I don't know what the comic will be about yet. In fact, at the time this strip went up I still didn't know what my 24-hour comic will be about. The idea is that there's no preplanning and that everything is done within the 24 hours, including the conceptualizing and writing, and I like to do it by the book.
When I finish the 24-hour comic, it's going to be up on my 24-hour comic site, d24comic.com, which at the time of this writing is still very stark and ugly and in desperate need of an overhaul. It won't be up right away, of course, because I can't scan it in and upload it until I get home on Monday morning, and even then I may not do it immediately. But it'll be up by... probably late Tuesday at the latest. Though at least on Monday I'll be able to tell what it was about.
