Comic strip for October 13 2023.
PANEL ONE: The champion leans forward to speak confidentially into Nezhoni's ear as the cloaked figures lead them through the castle. CHAMPION: Okay, I think I've come up with a plan. It's risky, but I think we might be able to pull it off. PANEL TWO: Closer on the champion and Nezhoni. CHAMPION: If we play our cards right, I think we might be able to bluff these guys into letting us go. I think it's worth a shot, anyway. PANEL FOUR: Close on the champion. CHAMPION: The only problem is we've got to hurry, because for us to have any chance at all we'll have to do this _before_ we get to the high priestess, or— PANEL FIVE The cloaked figures have led them in front of another figure seated on a carved throne. CLOAKED FIGURE: The high priestess. NEZHONI (to the champion): Anyone ever tell you you talk too much?

Heck, whoops, my apologies to anyone who read this strip before the evening of the 13th and saw it with the commentary and other text from the first strip. (If there is anyone who read the strip before then... I haven't really done much of anything to publicize it, so it probably doesn't have any readers yet anyway.) There's a glitch in the system for putting the text into the database that by default sticks in the text from the first strip if it's not overridden, and, uh, I didn't override it. I've been okay I guess at getting the strips themselves uploaded well ahead of time; I've been less so concerning the commentary and other text. (I actually think I may have fixed the glitch in the version of the site's code that's stored locally on my computer, but I haven't had time yet to test it and (assuming it works) upload it to the server. Or, perhaps more accurately, I haven't made time to do that.)

Well, I guess the only other thing I have to say in today's commentary anyway is that I did get up the 24-hour comic I did on 24-Hour Comics Day last weekend. In fact, I got it up yesterday morning and forgot to mention it then. But anyway, it's at https://www.d24comic.com/Night, if you want to check it out.
