PANEL ONE: Erlak champion rides the giant rat Nezhoni across a grassy landscape. CHAMPION: You know, I heard somewhere that rats can't vomit. They don't have the musculature. Is that true? NEZHONI: Maybe, but if you try to give me any more of those homemade gingersnaps of yours, I'll try my darnedest.

I don't remember for certain whether the champion's fondness for baking cookies was something that I'd planned from the beginning or that just sort of developed over time, but I'm pretty sure it was the latter.

Anyway, I think this is the only single-panel strip in the comic's original run. Whether there will ever be another single-panel strip in the future... I don't know. Alas, brevity is not necessarily a virtue I possess.
