PANEL ONE: Maiz holds a rope at the side of the pit while Nezhoni stands nearby. MAIZ: Okay, I've got the rope, and I'm about to throw it— PANEL TWO: The pit SLAMS shut PANEL THREE: Close on Nezhoni. NEZHONI: Heh heh heh heh heh. PANEL FOUR: Nezhoni and Maiz look at each other. NEZHONI: What, am I the only one who sees the humor in this situation?

So, I said yesterday that I would get the rest of the week's strips relettered and uploaded last night, and... I didn't. I didn't even get this strip up on time, though it was only a few minutes late instead of more than half a day. Okay, tonight I will get the rest of the week's strips relettered and uploaded... although by this point "the rest of the week" only constitutes three or four more days anyway. (As I said, as of the new year I should be somewhat less pressed for time, and I'll be able to get ahead again.)
