Comic strip for December 19 2023.
PANEL ONE: The nobleman faces Jarum. Angle from slightly behind the nobleman. NOBLEMAN: So what are you suggesting? JARUM: Well, I think it may be easiest to contact him through his divine patron. PANEL TWO: Different angle, from slightly behind Jarum. NOBLEMAN: You think a god may be easier to contact than a mortal? JARUM: Certainly. To contact a mortal, we have to find him first. But the gods can always hear us. PANEL THREE: Same scene; side view. NOBLEMAN: Hmm... But wouldn't a god expect a high price for his assistance? JARUM: Hey, it's a god of soup we're talking about. Give him a personalized tureen and he'll be happy.

It just occurred to me that of the three recurring characters with facial hair so far, one has just a moustache, one has just a beard, and one has both. This has no significance whatsoever, but I didn't really have anything else to say about today's strip.

(Well... I say recurring, but I don't have currently have any further plans for Trevalien to appear again. Which isn't to say he may not show up if a reason occurs to me to bring him back.)

Oh, wait, I'm an idiot; I forgot Snormar. Okay, of the four recurring characters with facial hair, two have both, which renders this pointless observation even more pointless than it already was. I should just delete this and write something else, but... eh, I still don't really have anything else to say.
